We can't say enough good things about our experience with Debbie Frazelle and her team. We relocated in the height of the pandemic with our 3 toddlers from out of state. Words alone cannot express how we feel about Debbie’s professional experience, commitment and unmatched client service, but even more so as a person who has become a dear friend of our family. We were introduced to Debbie by our close friends / real estate agents (Beverly and Marshall Fleischman – Coldwell Banker in Winnetka, IL). This introduction truly allowed us to find our dream home in Scottsdale. We first had the pleasure of speaking with Debbie in mid-January to discuss our real estate situation in Illinois, but more importantly what we were looking for in terms of a house in Scottsdale. She listened very attentively, asked the right questions and provided us an in-depth view of the current market along with her own personal suggestions for us to consider. Our initial discussion was so assuring since many real estate agents don’t necessarily take the time to truly listen as many want to close a deal ASAP w/o considering all factors of their clients. We informed Debbie that we would be visiting Scottsdale the second week of February to look at schools and houses. From the time we spoke in mid-January until when we arrived in mid-February, Debbie proactively and on her own accord took the time to visit a significant number of houses that aligned with our specifications to make sure they would be satisfactory for our visit. She literally spent multiple weekends scoping out houses that we had identified as well as other houses she thought we would find appealing; and eliminating those that didn’t fit our requests or had negative aspects to them (e.g. power lines, loud noise / roads, etc.). As such, when we showed up in mid-February, Debbie had already narrowed down our potential visits to approximately 10 houses (including some we didn’t initially request to see, of which one would ultimately become our home!). Upon meeting Debbie, we were greeted with warmth afforded to family members. Further, she had proactively packed “goodie and activity bags” for our young children to keep them engaged throughout the tedious process of looking at homes. Her ability to immediately connect with us provided us affirmation that we certainly selected the right agent, but more importantly the warmth she showed to our kids truly made a lasting impact on us. We spent multiple days with Debbie looking at homes, and in each house, she listened to our feedback while appropriately providing balanced and impactful feedback. Further, the one house she proactively identified for us to see, and which we ultimately bought; she was able to secure an appointment with the owners (their real estate agent was unavailable) to see the house the evening prior to us heading back to home to Chicago. When we arrived at the house, Debbie again demonstrated her classiness and ability to connect w people by providing the home owners a nice bottle of red wine since we were viewing their house on Valentines Day evening. Once in the home, we realized this house was the one for us, and that Debbie’s proactive hard work and listening to our preferences paid off. We decided to move to the next phase of the home buying process, and we put an offer on the house. Again, throughout the negotiation process, Debbie was extremely responsive (i.e. working late nights, responding to texts / calls w/in the hour, etc.) and provided invaluable insights to get us through a complicated negotiation process that was tied to selling our house in Illinois. All while in a national pandemic w many restrictions!! She managed the negotiation process impeccably, balanced out a difficult seller’s agent, and mitigated certain “hold-ups” in the contract process. Her business acumen and personal skills allowed us to successfully close on our dream house in a timely fashion. And important to note, she truly advised us throughout the process, calmed our anxieties and managed the overall dealings like a maestro. Finally, and this is where words alone cannot provide enough praise or gratitude to Debbie, she helped us immensely after the closing on a number of projects that needed to be completed in the house. Literally, and I mean literally, she truly acted as our general contractor by leveraging her relationships in the industry to get bids on roofing, painting, electrical work, flooring and so many other service providers. Without her, we would have been lost and would not have found the great contractors / service providers we ultimately contracted. Even after the contract phase, Debbie continued to show up at our house to make sure the work was getting completed in a proper fashion. And, once we moved in on May 31, Debbie was again there to welcome us with her warmth, capturing smile and friendship that she showed to us from the first day we met. She even went to the extent of bringing us water, food, toilet paper, paper towels and beach towels for our kids! Debbie truly goes above and beyond! We are so lucky to have met Debbie!

From prior experiences, having bought and sold over 8 homes in 3 cities, as the house search goes on you begin to wonder who your realtor is really working for, the seller or just the commission. There's always ultimately pressure to "buy something" particularly if the search has taken some time. Our experience with Deb couldn't have been more different. She proved to be anything but some young, hot shot inexperienced impatient realtor looking for the quick close/commission. First of all her market knowledge and concerned guidance with regard to our search was invaluable, particularly as we were moving to Arizona and knew little of the market and or what we might necessarily be looking for in a house and/or location. Early on in what turned out to be a well spent three month successful search for our home we identified a number of houses in which we showed interest (many of which we had identified on the internet), only to have Deb clearly outline the pros and cons of each home and or their respective locations, pointing out critical observations such as proximity to busy noisy streets, power lines, heavy traffic patterns and their geographic desirability relative to our expressed preferences regarding travel to the airport, access to shopping, low crime rates and an active restaurant scene. When we finally were able to narrow down our selections was when it really got interesting. Iv'e made a living having to often rely on my negotiating skills but Deb's negotiating skill set a new standard for me. She was always professional yet firm and here supporting data pertaining to our proposed bid prices consistently proved difficult for the sellers agent to fault, let alone convincingly respond to. In two cases she took us aside and made it clear the she thought the ask was too high and that we should move on. We where ultimately grateful that we listened. Deb showed us properties in all appropriate areas of Phoenix and Scottsdale and regardless of the area in which we were looking she knew the respective markets. That can only come with years of experience and knowledge. In the end we were going back and forth between two properties, one in the Baltimore area and the other in North Scottsdale, both of which Deb felt were good buys and would nicely meet our requirements. When it was effectively coming down to a coin toss she once again went through all the pros and cons associated with each property, had us close our eyes ( a little dramatic I first thought) and asked each of us which house we first saw ourselves living in and enjoying going forward. We love our new home in the Baltimore and are more certain that we made the right choice with every passing day. Needless to say, we couldn't recommend as a Realtor, more strongly. She was always on time, upbeat and ready with all the appropriate research needed to help us through that days tour of houses. Totally refreshing and satisfactory experience. My experience with Debbie Frazelle was superior. Due to some negative legal "glitches", I was forced to withdraw an offer on a home that I had originally wanted.
